Her love for health and well-being came after having a personal struggle that continued through college with eating disorders and then beyond with depression and anxiety. She also dealt with personal family issues that led her to feeling a loss of control emotionally and physically. Thankfully, she found balance and strength through proper nutrition, exercise, faith in God and genuine, hard work. She wants to help others reach their goals and maintain them for life no matter their circumstances.

She has been featured in local, regional and national print and video content, such as hosting her blog, ChristyFit.com, Sweet Sweat’s Youtube series, Austin Fit! Magazine, Muscle and Fitness Hers! magazine, Dick’s Sporting Goods, the P90 fitness DVD series, NBC Sports Radius and fitness infomercials and commercials in addition to various TV and radio news outlets and magazines.

For her own workouts, Christy loves to run outdoors (she is currently training for her second half-marathon), cross-training with OTF. and yoga but she also thrilled to try new classes. She also loves hanging out with family and friends, animals (especially dogs), acting and performing, traveling, jet-skiing, wine, good food, exploring new places and hiking. If it’s an adventure… Christy is there!

  1. Hi,
I had a wonderful student with the same name, in my Chemistry or Anatomy class; are you a Chardon High School grad? If not, you sure look like the Chardon one (also beautiful). Congrats on your success!
